Bashkortostan agrarians sowed 62 percent of the planned areas
UFA, 13 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Spring sowing in Bashkortostan is held on the area of 1.265 million hectares, or 62 percent of the planned area. For comparison, last year 465 thousand hectares of arable land were put under crops in the region.
Spring grains and legumes are sown on the area of 928 thousand hectares, which is 70 percent of the planned, sugar beet on 41.8 thousand hectares, or 83 percent of sown areas, sunflower on 169 thousand hectares (84 percent), corn for grain – on nearly eight thousand (39 percent).
As the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB mark, the republican farmers daily seed more than 100 thousand hectares of arable land. At the same time farms of Alsheevo, Aurgazy, Blagoveschensk, Dyurtyuli, Ilishevo, Meleuz, Sterlibashevo and Chekmagush regions will have to sow less than one third of the planned areas.
