Ruble deposits volume of Bashkortostan residents decreased by one percent year to date

UFA, 10 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olesya Seregina/. From the beginning of the year, the amount of ruble deposits of Bashkortostan population declined by one percent (minus 2.7 percent nationwide). Thus, residents of the republic hold 303,42 billion rubles in bank deposits. Data on the balance of funds of individuals in the Russian banks in the region as of April 1, 2016 are given by the National Bank Department of the Republic of Bashkortostan Urals Main Directorate of CBR.

The weighted average interest rate on ruble deposits of individuals decreased from 10.4 percent in March 2015 to 7.5 percent in March 2016.

As of April 1 this year, total 80 credit institutions operate in Bashkortostan, five of them are republican ones.
