Bashkortostan enterprises will spend more than 15 million rubles for environmental improvement

UFA, 6 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. In Bashkortostan, the company will spend more than 15 million rubles for environmental improvement. The development of projects to reduce emissions for the current year was preceded by a check of the regional environmental inter-district prosecutor's office.

According to the prosecutor's check, six major oil and gas companies, including "Tuimazy Gas Processing Enterprise", LLC "Targin-Burenie" did not comply with the requirements of the law to reduce emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere. Thus last year as a result of their activities more than four thousand tons of harmful substances in the air, including carcinogens were emitted into the atmosphere.

The environmental prosecutor's office made submission to the management of organizations, after considering which projects were developed to reduce emissions for the current year. The cost of the planned activities, including the re-equipment of separate processing sections and the construction of new treatment facilities exceeded 15 million rubles. The execution of projects and complete elimination of violations of the law is controlled by the prosecutor's office.
