Significant increase in demand for e-government services is observed in Bashkortostan - Rosstat

UFA, 27 April 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. In Moscow the end-of-year meetings of the expanded board of the Ministry of Telecom & Mass Communications of the Russian Federation and the Council for Regional Informatization were held, where the Rosstat (Federal Service of State Statistics) data were presented.

In particular, it was announced an index of the share of Russian citizens using e-government services, the press service of the Bashkortostan State Committee for Information and Functioning of the "Open Republic" System informs.

Thus Bashkortostan is marked as a region, where the popularity of electronic government services use increased significantly. Last year, this share reached 52 percent, which is by 24.4 percent more than in 2014 and by 12 percent more than the nationwide index of 2015.
