Bashkir River Shipping Company expects to receive 170 million rubles of revenues in 2016

UFA, 27 April 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olesya Seregina/. JSC "Bashkir River Shipping Company" expects to receive revenues from all activities in the amount of not less than 170 million rubles in 2016, according to the company’s press release. During this navigation the company plans to carry 75 thousand passengers and 700 thousand tons of cargo, and will deliver 420 thousand tons of sand and gravel.

Despite the problems that have arisen in the course of preparation for the navigation of 2016, crews, employees of the shipyard and the Ufa river port made great efforts to repair and prepare the ships. To date, 39 units of the fleet are ready to start the navigation, it is said in the report.

At the end of 2015 the Bashkir River Shipping Company had a net loss in the amount of 146.99 million rubles at the revenue of 153.7 million rubles, «Kommersant-Ufa» informs. On May 4, the Arbitration Court of Bashkortostan should consider a claim for recognizing the shipping company a bankrupt.
