Bashkortostan consolidated budget surplus amounted to 5.5 billion rubles in the first quarter

The Bashkortostan consolidated budget in January-March 2016 was executed with a surplus of 5.49 billion rubles, the republican Ministry of Finance informs. Revenues amounted to 39.28 billion rubles with an increase of 2.2 percent by the first quarter of 2015, expenditures were financed in the amount of 33.79 billion – with a 3.4 percent increase.

Tax and nontax revenues made 31.81 billion rubles (plus 8.2 percent to January-March 2015) in the total amount of the consolidated budget revenues. The main sources of income are personal income tax - 9.96 billion rubles (31.3 percent), corporate profit tax - 7.77 billion (24.4 percent), excise taxes - 3.93 billion (12.4 percent) , property taxes - 3.64 billion rubles (11.4 percent), total revenue taxes - 1.49 billion (4.7 percent).

The sectoral structure of expenditures is dominated by a social component - 77.8 percent of all expenditures. 9.2 percent of total spending is accounted for financing of capital investments and the road sector.

The budget of the republic in January-March was executed with a surplus of 5.14 billion rubles: revenues - 33.23 billion, expenditures - 28.09 billion rubles.

Revenues of local budgets in the first quarter amounted to 15.34 billion rubles, expenditures - 14.98 billion rubles.
