Bashkortostan representatives took part in 2nd International Economic Forum in Yalta

UFA, 25 April 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulchachak Khannanova/. The Delegation of the Republic of Bashkortostan visited the 2nd Yalta International Economic Forum, held in the Republic of Crimea from April 14 to 16.

After participating in the plenary session of the forum, which theme was "Economy Growth Facing New Challenges", members of the delegation participated in a number of sections. In the section "Regions of Russia. Best Practices of Inter-Regional Cooperation" Rustem Vildanov, the representative of the Republic of Bashkortostan in the Republic of Crime delivered a report.

In addition, members of the Bashkir delegation tested a new online resource, which was presented at the forum - Investment Portal of the Republic of Crimea "Crimea. Best Time to Invest".

The sponsoring support of our republican businesses, organizations, charitable foundations to Belogorsky region of the Republic of Crimea was marked as an example of Bashkortostan investment activity.

Today, 75 objects of social infrastructure renovated or constructed with the participation of experts from Bashkortostan operate in 28 settlements of the region. Financing of such objects is organized by the Foundation for Social Target Programs of Bashkortostan.

From April 2014 to December 2015 with the direct participation of Bashkortostan experts, in particular, roads in the villages of Petrovo and Severnoe, the settlement of Zuya and the city of Belogorsk were repaired, roofs of several social infrastructure objects were replaced. It was completed overhaul repairs of the water supply mains in five streets of Belogorsk. 11 kindergartens, 27 schools and 7 district health facilities in Belogorsky region underwent repairs works. Special motor transport, machinery and equipment for the local public utilities, Belogorsk Central District Hospital, forestry institutions, MES, veterinary science, culture and social protection facilities were delivered.

Also it was rendered assistance in preparation of agricultural enterprises to conduct seasonal agricultural works. It was created Belogorsk branch of the machine-tractor station RB, which received 15 harvesters from our republic. Five purebred stallions of Bashkir breed were brought to the region.

The "Markhamat" Charitable Educational Foundation of Bashkortostan purchased five wheelchairs in the amount of 100 thousand rubles for the disabled children of Belogorsky region, provided financial support for families with many children. Due to the emergency situation, in December 2015 30 petrol power plants totaling 2992 thousand rubles were transferred to the region. Total for two years Bashkortostan has rendered support to Belogorsky region in the amount of more than 400 million rubles.

The long-term co-operation prospects the parties see, in particular, in solving the problem of gasification of Belogorsk settlements. It is expected that the volume of capital investments in gas pipelines, street mains, GDS could reach more than 4 billion rubles, the cost of design work - about 400 million rubles. Joint projects in the development of horticulture, greenhouse agriculture and livestock projects using modern technology applied by the Republic of Bashkortostan in the agricultural sector are also being developed.
