190 thousand tons of milk are produced in Bashkortostan since the beginning of the year

UFA, 21 April 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The gross milk yield in agricultural enterprises and farms of Bashkortostan reached nearly 190 thousand tons since the beginning of this year.

More than 1.3 thousand tons of milk have been already received on average from each cow in the republic, which is 176 kg more than the last year's figure.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkortostan, on average, it is received 13 kilograms of milk per day from a cow. This is 1.5 kilograms more than a year ago.

Thus the highest productivity of dairy cattle is marked now in Aurgazy, Sterlitamak, Uchaly, Chekmagush, Meleuz and Tatyshly regions. Here, every day it is received from 16,3 to 17 kilograms of milk from each cow, the ministry stated.
