It is planned to carry out dairy purchasing interventions in nine regions of Russia including Bashkortostan

UFA, 23 March 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia proposes to establish a maximum level of minimum prices for skimmed milk powder during the public purchasing interventions in 2016 at the level of 195 thousand rubles per ton.

In turn, the purchase prices for whole milk powder will make 238 thousand rubles per ton, butter - 308 thousand rubles. Price levels are calculated based on the price of 20,21 thousand rubles per ton of raw milk produced in the country.

Purchasing interventions of milk powder and butter are scheduled to start in June-August, and commodity interventions - in September and October. The interventions will be held in nine regions of Russia - producers of raw milk - Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Udmurtia, the Altai Territory, as well as Orenburg, Saratov, Omsk, Novosibirsk and Belgorod regions.

It is supposed to buy up to four thousand tons of butter and 10 tons of powdered milk, three thousand tons of dried whole and seven thousand tons of skimmed milk for the intervention fund, according to the website of the Daily Agrarian Review.
