Carrots rose in price during the period from March 9 to 14 – Bashkortostan Statistics Agency

UFA, 17 March 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olesya Seregina/. In the republic for the period from March 9 to 14 carrots rose in price by 0.7 percent, fresh cabbage by 0.6, millet and frozen fish by 0,4, Bashkortostan Statistics Agency reports.

Bread and bakery products, butter, pasta and pasteurized milk became more expensive during this period by 0.2 percent, beef, salt, sterilized milk, black tea, chilled and frozen chicken - by 0.1 percent.

At the same time, the cost of potatoes decreased by 2.9 percent, buckwheat fell by 2.8, - polished rice and sugar by 0.4, eggs by 0.3, onion and flour wheat by 0.2, sunflower oil by 0.1. Prices of apples, pork and mutton remained unchanged.

Groceries in Bashkortostan rose by 1.6 percent in January-February. In the republic inflation made 0.6 percent in February, since the beginning of the year - 1.4 percent.
