Unemployed number exceeds available vacancies in Bashkiria

UFA, 14 March 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Bashkortostan jobs bank has now about 24 thousand job vacancies. Meanwhile, the number of officially registered unemployed exceeded 28 thousand people in the region at the beginning of March. The level of registered unemployment rate was 1.42 percent, according to the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection RB.

More than seven thousand unemployed deregistered in connection with employment in February. Of these, 3,5 thousand inhabitants of Bashkortostan found jobs with the help of employment services.

According to population employment surveys, on average, in November 2015 - January 2016 the number of economically active population of the republic exceeded two million people. Of these, over 122 thousand were unemployed, in accordance with the standards of the International Labour Organisation. Total unemployment rate was 6.1 percent.
