Ufa passenger transport is transferred to natural gas
UFA, 9 March 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. The Ufa passenger transport is transferred to natural gas. There are about 600 buses on gas in the city, of which 74 of the "NefAZ" brand. Last year it was purchased about 30 units of vehicles, and 61 units of special equipment operating on natural gas.
The press service of the Ufa administration marks that cars on natural gas, according to the research, emit on average five times less harmful substances than those running on gasoline.
Transferring on gas fuel helps reducing burden on the environment and human health. Vehicle owners also consider the fact that fuel costs can be minimized due to the use of natural gas.
In the capital of the republic there are 15 CNG filling stations. As previously reported, in the first quarter of 2016 it is planned commissioning of CNG filling station. The new station will appear in 8-th of March Street.
