Bashkortostan Development Corporation signed an agreement with Belarus National Investment Agency

UFA, 4 March 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The Bashkortostan Development Corporation signed an agreement with the National Agency of Investment and Privatization of Belarus and Minsk City Technology Park. The documents were signed during the official visit of the Bashkortostan delegation to Belarus.

The main purpose of the agreements is expansion of cooperation between residents of industrial parks in Bashkortostan and companies included in the support system for investors in Belarus. The agreements are aimed at long-term cooperation for the mutual exchange of experience in creation of industrial parks, organization of their management, attracting residents and investment.

The Bashkortostan Development Corporation agreed with the Belarus National Investment Agency to exchange information on existing regional laws in the field of investment legislation, forums, congresses, exhibitions, round tables and other events related to the attraction of investments, and in which the other party will be able to take part. In addition, the parties will inform each other about ongoing investment projects and represent the interests of the residents of the industrial park in the territory of Bashkortostan and Belarus.

The National Investment and Privatization Agency is a public institution under the Ministry of Economy of Belarus. The agency is involved in the policy development of direct foreign investment attraction, cooperates with multinational corporations in order to create joint ventures in Belarus and implements measures on forming the investment image of the country, engaged in creation and maintenance of a common information base on investment activities, accompanied by the implementation of investment projects, as well as performs other functions.

The Minsk City Technology Park was created to provide systematic support to the enterprises in the implementation of innovative projects through provision of benefits and preferences provided by the legislation, creation of favourable conditions for doing business in the high-tech sector, supporting budding innovative companies.
