UMPO presented its products at the Russian Industrial Forum

UFA, 29 February 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olesya Seregina/. UMPO - Ufa Engine Industrial Association (part of the JSC "UEC" of Rostec State Corporation) participated in the exhibition and the business program of the 11th Russian Industrial Forum.

As the press-service of UMPO informs, the association presented a mockup of the fourth-generation engine AL-31FP, which is assembled on the Su-30 aircraft, including export options: the Su-30MKI (India), Su-30MKM (Malaysia).

Visitors of the UMPO exposition also saw a mockup of GTE-18 test complex to hold special tests of ground gas turbine drives for gas pumping units AL-31ST. PJSC Gazprom considers this drive as one of the engine options for its gas-pumping stations in the course of import substitution project.

The Russian Industry Forum was held in Ufa from February 24 to 26, 2016. The forum brought together the largest designers, manufacturers and experts in the field of mechanical engineering, industrial safety, robotics, government officials and specialists of corporations and industrial holdings of the federal and regional level.

PJSC "Ufa Engine Industrial Association" (part of the United Engine Building Corporation) is the largest manufacturer of aircraft engines in Russia. The main activities are development, production, maintenance and repair of turbo-jet aircraft engines and gas-pumping units, manufacture and repair of helicopter units.

JSC "United Engine Building Corporation" (part of the Rostec state corporation) is an integrated structure, specialized in development, serial production and maintenance of engines for military and civil aviation, space programs and the Navy, as well as for oil and gas industry and energy sector. Proceeds of the holding in 2014 amounted to 199.9 billion rubles.

Rostec is the Russian state-owned corporation established in 2007 to promote development, production and export of high-tech industrial products for civil and military purposes. Rostec companies are located in the territory of 60 subjects of the Russian Federation and supply products to the markets of over 70 countries. Rostec revenues in 2014 amounted to 964.5 billion rubles. The total amount of tax deductions was 147.8 billion rubles.
