Small business is not satisfied with state support rendered in Bashkortostan

UFA, 17 February 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. In 2015, 16 thousand enterprises operating in the sphere of small and medium-sized businesses were rendered state financial support. As reported at the final board of Bashkortostan State Committee for Entrepreneurship and Tourism, for these purposes the department had allocated 470 million rubles (including 300 million from the federal budget, 71.6 million from the republican budget, 94 million from local budgets, about 4 million from extra-budgetary sources) .

However Bashkortostan entrepreneurs are not satisfied with measures of state support, which included regional tax incentives, terms of regional guarantee funds, subsidies. During the polls performed by the National rating businessmen rated them as "1" on a five-point score.

About 128 thousand small and medium businesses (+800 for a year) were registered in the republic at the end of 2015. It is nearly 86 thousand sole traders, 36.5 thousand micro enterprises, more than five thousand small enterprises.

Nearly half - 46 percent operate in the sphere of trade, car service, repair of household appliances. Nine percent are engaged in manufacturing, seven - in construction, six – in agriculture. 15 percent of entrepreneurs work in the field of real estate.

According to the agency, more than 480 thousand people are engaged in small and medium-sized businesses - about 29 percent of the working population of the republic. The turnover of small businesses accounted for 40 percent of the total turnover of companies in the region. Since 2011 there was a significant increase in the share of small and medium-sized businesses in the gross regional product (an index of recent years - more than 26 percent).

Taxes of small businesses amounted to 6.2 billion rubles - 5.5 percent of total tax revenues of all enterprises and organizations (112.2 billion rubles).

Our republic is on the ninth place in the country on number of small enterprises in absolute terms. However, by number of small businesses per 1,000 people Bashkortostan is at the bottom of the list – 72nd position.

The State Committee for Entrepreneurship and Tourism has developed a standard for monitoring the state of the business climate in municipalities, which will estimate the work of authorities in order to improve the positions of the republic in the National rating. The results of monitoring in 2015 are processed and will be ready in March 2016.
