Ufa restaurateurs considered possibilities of fish import substitution

UFA, 15 February 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. There was a presentation of the Russian fish in Ufa. On the proposal of the Association of chefs, restaurateurs and hoteliers RB fish of the northern seas was presented by the republican supplier "Neptune". The Chef of "Moroshka" restaurant Sergei Tribunsky shared his experience in import substitution: "95 percent of products purchased by us are made in Russia. Six months ago we began to purchase the Russian fish from a local supplier, which price and quality of products meets our expectations".

According to the Republican State Committee for Trade, the local catering is experiencing some difficulties with suppliers of certain categories of products. According to chefs they cannot get so far certain types of meat, fish and vegetables of consistent quality that is unacceptable for the level of restaurant cuisine.

"We often meet with farmers, tell them which products are now required by restaurants. Constantly we are monitoring the situation and are looking for reliable suppliers. We hope that soon we will be able to establish our joint work ", said the executive director of the Association Natalia Chibrikina.
