Corporate lending decreased by more than 20 percent in Bashkiria in 2015

UFA, 15 February 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olesya Seregina/. In 2015, Bashkortostan banks issued loans for 467.8 billion rubles to legal entities and sole traders - by 22.5 percent less than in 2014, as follows from the press release of the republican department of the Central Bank.

The outstanding loans balance decreased by 4.9 percent and amounted to 399.8 billion rubles (in Russia this figure increased by 7.6 percent). The overdue debt level increased by 0.3 percentage points - to 2.1 percent.

Lending to small and medium companies decreased by 14.2% - to 96.7 billion rubles (in Russia - by 28.3 percent). The volume of overdue loans increased by 14.1 percent and amounted to 5.6 billion rubles.

As of the beginning of 2016, 83 credit organizations operate in Bashkortostan. Among them there are five republican banks.
