UMPO top managers and young professionals met at a round table

The Ufa Engine Industrial Association (UMPO) top managers met at a round table with young engineers and specialists of departments, divisions and services, which the company employs for not more than three years. The UMPO Managing Director Eugene Semivelichenko, his deputies and directors were interested in a fresh look at a work in the association.

Such attention to young people can be explained by the fact that more than 8000 employees working for UMPO are under the age of 35 years - about 40 percent of the team.

In order to adapt the new employees there is a program for creation of production reserve and special event "Backup Person Month" allowing reservists to try themselves as managers. Special provisions regulate wages of young specialists, their leisure and recreation. Anyone can join the Council of Young Professionals and Youth Union and with the support of the association promote his research and organizational projects at national and international level.

PJSC "Ufa Engine Industrial Association" (part of the United Engine Building Corporation) is the largest manufacturer of aircraft engines in Russia. The main activities are development, production, maintenance and repair of turbo-jet aircraft engines and gas-pumping units, manufacture and repair of helicopter units.

JSC "United Engine Building Corporation" (part of the Rostec state corporation) is an integrated structure, specialized in development, serial production and maintenance of engines for military and civil aviation, space programs and the Navy, as well as for oil and gas industry and energy sector. Proceeds of the holding in 2014 amounted to 199.9 billion rubles.

Rostec is the Russian state-owned corporation established in 2007 to promote development, production and export of high-tech industrial products for civil and military purposes. Rostec companies are located in the territory of 60 subjects of the Russian Federation and supply products to the markets of over 70 countries. Rostec revenues in 2014 amounted to 964.5 billion rubles. The total amount of tax deductions was 147.8 billion rubles.
