UFA, 5 February 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Alexander Smirnov/. On February 4, at the House of the Republic the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with the President of PJSC LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov. The meeting discussed the development prospects of the company's activities in the region.
“Regarding our joint work it is quite satisfactory, but not at a high level in terms of volume. But in terms of mutual support, we are up to the standard”, Rustem Khamitov said. “We have to think about how to promote our further joint work, what new we can do in this part and how we can restructure some of our activities.”
Vagit Alekperov, in turn, said that in Ufa a sales centre for petroleum products was established covering nine regions of Russia.
“Here we have created a centre. This is not just a regional structure; it is an organization that works from the Yamal-Nenets District to Orenburg and from Tatarstan to the Far East. That is, the centre is located here,” he stressed.
