Incomes dropped by 9.9 percent in Bashkortostan

UFA, 28 January 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. According to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency, in January-November of the last year the average monthly wages in the republic amounted to 25311.6 rubles. Real wages taking into account the consumer price index in this period against January-November 2014 amounted to 90.1 percent, across Russia – to 90.8.

According to statistics, one of the key indicators of living standards is income of the population. During the last year in Bashkortostan, as well as in the country as a whole, a decline of real incomes of the population is registered. The crisis most clearly reflected in the savings behavior of people, in their expenditures for real estate acquisition and borrowing activity.

The level of total unemployment in the republic during the year of 2015 was higher than on average across Russia. This is evidenced by the materials of surveys on employment conducted by the statistics bodies according to the methodology of the International Labour Organization.
