Foreign trade turnover decreased by 721 million dollars in Bashkortostan

UFA, 26 January 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. In Bashkortostan last year foreign trade turnover in comparison with the year of 2014 decreased by 721 million US dollars. This was reported by the acting Head of Bashkortostan Customs Marat Safiullin at the press conference.

"In 2015 the foreign trade turnover in the area of the customs activity amounted to 1.7 billion dollars. Including export - $ 1.4 billion, imports - 351 million dollars ", Marat Safiullin said.

The exports fell by 8% and imports by almost half in terms of physical volume or tonnage.

"The number of counterparties has not significantly changed. In 2014 there were 104, and in 2015 - 99. The main share both in exports and imports is occupied by China", marked the deputy chief of Bashkortostan Customs Dmitry Mosalev.

Leaders in the field of partnerships in exports were China, India, Finland. China, the European Union countries (Germany, France), the United States prevailed in import of goods.
