Bashkiria took 13th place in the Russian subjects rating on budget data disclosure

UFA, 25 January 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. The Republic of Bashkortostan took the 13th place in the ranking of subjects of Russia in terms of transparency of budgetary data. The monitoring results for the last year were made public by the Ministry of Finance. The rating was compiled by the Research Institute of Finance (NIFI) together with the Centre for Applied Economics requested by the fiscal policy department of the Ministry of Finance RF.

According to the press service of the republican Ministry, compared with the last year there is a major breakthrough: at the end of 2014 the region took only the 71-72 positions.

Traditionally, the regions are assessed in such areas as description of originally approved budget, the annual report on its implementation, amendments to the budget law, interim reporting on budget execution and analysis, financial control, budget project and contributions to it, public information on activities of state institutions, budget for citizens, infrastructure of budget data disclosure for citizens and public participation.
