Salavat Chemical Plant is included in the list of strategic enterprises of Russia

UFA, 18 January 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olesya Seregina/. The Salavat Chemical Plant is included in the List of strategic organizations of Russia. The corresponding document was published on the official website of Legal Information of the Russian Federation.

Ten companies located in the Republic of Bashkortostan are included in the list. These are joint-stock companies: UMPO, "Hydraulics", Kumertau Aviation Production Enterprise (KumAPP), Ufa Aggregate Production Company (UAPO), Ufa Instrument Engineering Plant (UPPO), "Vityaz" engineering company, "Molniya" Production Enterprise, Ufa Microelectronics Plant "Magnetron", Bashkir Production Association "Progress" and Ufa Design Institute of Aviation Industry " Ufaaviaproekt".

As explained by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the list of strategic organizations is approved by the Government of the Russian Federation to increase the stability of the Russian economy and to reduce possible negative effects of the crisis.

The Salavat Chemical Plant was established in 2012 on the site of the chemical plant of "Gazprom neftekhim Salavat". Since 1965 it produces heptyl - a component of liquid rocket fuel. In 2015 it was transformed into a joint stock company. The authorized capital is 5.576 billion rubles, 61% is owned by the Russian Federation.
