Bank of Russia issued a hundred-ruble banknote in honour of Crimea and Sevastopol
UFA, 23 December 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. The Bank of Russia issued a commemorative hundred-ruble banknote dedicated to Crimea and Sevastopol on December 23. The circulation is 20 million pieces. The Swallow's Nest is shown on one side of the banknote dedicated to Crimea, on the other – a Monument to the Scuttled Ships in Sevastopol Bay - a fragment of the painting by I.K. Aivazovsky "The Russian Squadron on the Sevastopol Raid". The images are oriented vertically.
According to the press service of the Central Bank, under the image of the castle a QR-code is located with a link to the bank's website where you can find historical information on the commemorative banknote.
