"The first priority in improving the investment climate is to form such business conditions that our business community steadily, year by year, will build up investment activity, invest their resources in innovation, compete for domestic and foreign markets, " said the head of the region. “Today, the situation in the Republic of Bashkortostan became a little better than it was two or three years ago. We have been working intensely enough in this part, but still there are a lot of unresolved tasks. We should create as they say in IT a "favourable interface" for our business. "

The Head of the Republic noted that currently small and medium business should be focused on.

"I have repeatedly said that the economic development of the republic is possible only at the expense of strengthening the position of small and medium-sized businesses. Big business, major enterprises modernize their production facilities and invest significant resources at an easy pace. In these terms nothing significant happens. Large companies and corporations live their own lives. They have plans for five or ten years, some of them for 20-25 years. But small, medium business is very active, it can quickly change the situation", said Rustem Khamitov.

The measures for the implementation of the best practices of the National investment climate rating and Competition Development Standard in the subjects of the Russian Federation were discussed at the session, as well as a project for educational facilities construction with payment by installments.
