About 13 thousand premium cars are sold for a year in Ufa

UFA, 22 December 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. Residents of Ufa for 11 months of 2015 purchased 12.7 thousand new cars of premium class. The share of such vehicles in the market was 8%. With these figures the capital of Bashkortostan entered the Top 50 cities of Russia with the 27th place in the rating.

According to research conducted by the «Autostat» analytic agency, in general in the Russian market of new passenger cars the share of premium segment was about 10% in the reporting period. In 14 cities the national average was exceeded.

The largest share of the premium segment in the market of new cars is in Moscow - 24%. That is almost one in four cars purchased this year by the residents of the capital are of the premium brand. The northern capital takes the second place: in St. Petersburg the share of cars of this segment is 17% in the total volume of the market. In addition to the two capitals, fairly high figures (15% and higher) are in Sochi, Krasnodar, Vladivostok. Cheboksary, Togliatti and Nizhny Tagil are at the end of the rating with a share of only 5%.

"The share of premium cars in the market depends on the income level and the degree of income distribution among the population", said the Head of the Analytics Department of the "Autostat" agency Andrey Toptun.
