First eco market opened in Bashkortostan

UFA, 18 December 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov, Lyasyan Yumaguzina/. The first and single in the republic "Ecomarket" opened in Ufa, the capital of Bashkortostan - a supermarket of green-labelled farm products.

Eco markets are a new world trend that has long been known, for example, in the United States. In Russia, it is still making its way, and in Ufa it successfully fit into the chain of caterers of Bashkir trademark "Pishka" consisting today of more than one hundred shops in nine cities of Russia. Stepping in the last two years outside of Bashkortostan, the chain, in particular, opened three branded caterers in Moscow: in Novy Arbat at Moscow Government building, in one of the towers of the Moscow City and at the Mission of Bashkortostan Republic under the President of the Russian Federation. Recently Pishka was launched in Germany in the main street of Berlin, having become the first cafe of Bashkir cuisine abroad.

The Ecomarket, which opened next to Bashkir State Agrarian University, presents products from different farms of the republic. These are national dishes, dairy and grain products, vegetables, prepared foods, fresh pastries, mare's milk, honey, tea, meat products and vegetarian products, most of which under the brand "Product of Bashkortostan".

The Government of the Republic welcomed the emergence of a new format store. Its opening ceremony was attended by the Chairman of State Committee for Trade RB Rustam Kamaletdinov, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture RB Yuri Lysov, the head of the consumer market of Ufa administration Olga Zavyalova, representatives of the Bashkir trade associations, restaurateurs of the city. According to Yuri Lysov, a network of shops of the new format should be expanded.
