Bashkiria entered four regions where social tax revenues grow

UFA, 16 December 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Olesya Seregina/. Bashkortostan entered the four regions where growth of revenues from so-called social taxes continued. This information was announced at the meeting of the Government RF, chaired by the deputy chairwoman Olga Golodets.

In particular, the Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Maxim Topilin said that since the beginning of 2015 in Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Stavropol and Belgorod region a positive trend in collection of the personal income tax, contributions to the Pension Fund and Social Insurance Fund and Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund was observed. These taxes and fees are calculated basing on salary of individuals. Thus, their growth is indirect evidence that the wages of residents of the specified regions have on average growing tendencies and do not enter the shadow zone of economy.

As the expert economist Konstantin Kuz'minykh shared with Bashinform News Agency, three components enabled our republic to enter the four regions where social tax revenues are growing.

"First, Bashkiria bears about 80% of the budget burden in social sphere. Secondly, it is 5.15 billion rubles in the form of Bashneft dividends to the regional budget, which were directed, including also to salaries of public sector employees. Third, the effective consolidation of the Ministry of Finance, the Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service of Bashkortostan and other competent bodies, which increase financial discipline of enterprises and taxpayers", said the expert.
