Latvian official delegation will visit Bashkortostan

UFA, 3 December 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. On December 14, a delegation of Latvian businessmen headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Latvia to the Russian Federation Ms Astra Kurme will arrive on a business trip in Bashkortostan. Among the planned activities there will be a meeting with businessmen of our republic, representatives of the Ufa administration, a tour over the capital of Bashkortostan, a visit to the "Mother and Child" clinic.

According to the member of the delegation, the Chairwoman of the Baltic International Centre "Salavat Yulaev" (Riga) Rina Khamitova, among the guests 18 businessmen representing 12 Latvian companies are expected. The major of them are JSC "Riga Carriage Works", an experienced international transport company «AA Logistic», which offers terminal, warehouse and customs broker services at the Russian-European borders. Manufacturer and exporter of fertilizers - LLC «NPKExpert», the freight forwarding company LLC «SIGIS» and other enterprises will come to Ufa with proposals on cooperation.

The education sector in the delegation will be represented by well-known in Latvia, Riga International School of Economics and Management (RISEBA), which is looking for business partners for cooperation in the field of higher and secondary education. The "Perspective" Centre LLC "Ritausma-B" is engaged in training and education; it founded the Baltic Centre for existential psychology, offers high-quality training in various professional areas.

The largest group of members of the delegation is bankers and financiers: AS Expobank, Bank M2M Europe AS, ABLV Consulting Services AS and JSC «Baltic International Bank».

Today, relations between Latvia and Bashkortostan are rapidly developing not only in the economic field, but also in the cultural, scientific and educational spheres.
