Ufa delegation has studied Qiqihar urban planning experience

UFA, 1 December 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. Ufa delegation studied the experience of the city of Qiqihar in Heilongjiang Province of China in the field of urban economy, industry, construction, transport and health.

Ufa representatives inspected the exhibition hall, got acquainted with the history and practice of construction and resettlement of citizens during the demolition of dilapidated housing in the new neighborhood of Qiqihar "City of the Phoenix", which was an example of the urban space effective use.

Experience in the construction of the new neighborhood in Qiqihar interested the delegation especially with its approaches applicable in the territory of the Bashkir capital.

China has identified powerful federal contractors which develop large cities of the country. They have a large amount of financial resources, which allows building up neighborhoods with a full range of social and road infrastructure. As part of twin-city relations Ufa major developers will be encouraged to explore the experience of China.

The delegation visited the showrooms of the Wanda company, a plant for oil processing and drilling equipment assembly, a new railway station, Qiqihar Hospital of Traditional Medicine.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, Ufa and Qiqihar (China) signed a Memorandum of twin-city relations. In the near future there will be a possibility of cooperation in economy, investment, trade and business areas.
