Bashinformsvyaz passed into full ownership of Rostelecom

UFA, 25 November 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. Rostelecom has completed the consolidation of 100% of shares of PJSC Bashinformsvyaz by buying the remaining shares from minority shareholders. As reported on the official website of the company, 2.4 billion rubles were directed for voluntary and compulsory acquisition.

"Consolidation will increase the level of corporate control and will provide stronger operational integration," it is stated in the press release of the corporation. However, according to RBC Ufa, it is not planned to rebrand Bashinformsvyaz in the near future, the division will operate under the same name.

In 2014, Rostelecom bought 25% of Bashinformsvyaz shares at Gazprombank for 2.2 billion rubles and as a result became the owner of more than 95% stake in the Bashkir company. This allowed the holding to carry out a compulsory acquisition and acquire the latest assets.
