Central Bank revoked Svyaznoy and Nota Banks licenses operating in Ufa

UFA, 24 November 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. On November 24, the Central Bank of Russia revoked the licenses of four Russian banks, among them - Svyaznoy and Nota Banks which had branches in Ufa. These institutions in terms of assets took the 150th and 97th places in the banking system, respectively. In the press release of the Central Bank it is stated that because of the poor quality of banks' assets the regulator did not see a possibility of the financial institutions recovery.
Ufa offices of Svyaznoy by reason of cost reduction were closed at the beginning of the year, customers were provided with other service channels.
It was found exceeding the value of liabilities over assets of 26 billion rubles at the Nota Bank.
Svyaznoy and Nota Banks are parties to the insurance system; their depositors will receive their refund.
