Geoscientists will discuss issues of technology and equipment import substitution in Ufa

UFA, 23 November 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. In Ufa geoscientists will discuss issues of technology and equipment import substitution for well logging. On November 25, the city will host research and practice conference that will bring together more than 120 specialists from Russia and China. The event is organized by the Geophysical cluster "Quantum", together with the Bashkir Branch of the Euro-Asian Geophysical Society, the International Association of Cooperation on Geophysical Well Logging with the assistance of the Ministry of Industry and Innovation Policy RB and the CCI RB.

According to the curators of the conference, topical issues of import substitution, new technologies and opportunities of the Russian and the Chinese market to work on logging (well surveying), as well as the problem of the crisis will be discussed during the forum.

Bashkortostan controls 40% of the Russian market of geophysical instrumentation. The region occupies more than 20% of the geophysical services market.
