Rustem Khamitov delivered a speech at the opening of Russian Energy Forum

UFA, 28 October 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Alexander Smirnov/. On October 27 in Ufa, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov delivered a speech at the opening of 15th Russian Energy Forum "Effective Energy", which is held in the exhibition centre "VDNkH-Expo".

“I think this is one of the major events in Ufa that adorn the current business agenda. This agenda in recent months has become a large and significant one, and includes really serious events”, said Rustem Khamitov. “I am referring to energy efficiency, new devices and new energy sources. All these things are very topical, important today, and demanded by our country and economy. This exhibition will demonstrate new approaches to solving energy problems.”

The Head of the Republic visited expositions of the 21st specialized exhibition "Energy. Electrical Engineering. Cables" and the international exhibition "Energy Sector of the BRICS and SCO" organized in the framework of the forum. New products of electrical and energy sector are presented by more than 150 enterprises from 25 regions of Russia and Belarus, Serbia and Germany. Rustem Khamitov has discussed with representatives of companies - exhibitors issues of import substitution and introduction of innovative technologies in enterprises and the housing sector.

Recall that the Russian Energy Forum is held in Bashkortostan since 2000. Its goal is to discuss ways to improve the energy efficiency of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Urals and Russia as a whole. This year, more than 110 leading experts, representatives of federal and regional executive authorities, leaders of industry and related companies from Russia, CIS and non-CIS countries will make their presentations. The Russian Energy Forum will last until October 30.
