Rosaviation revoked the Transaero certificate

UFA, 23 October 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. Since October 26, 2015 Rosaviation cancels the certificate of Transaero Aviation Company. It is reported by the official website of the department.
According to a press release, on the eve of 2015 JSC "Aviation Company" Transaero" appeared on the brink of operations cessation. To prevent massive failures of transportation passengers, who have purchased tickets for the flights of Transaero, the Government of the Russian Federation promptly provided the air carrier support measures in the form of state guarantees in order to attract credit of the VTB Bank for a total of 9 billion rubles for current expenses of the company.
At a meeting of the Government of the Russian Federation it was decided to transfer the airline under the operational management of PJSC "Aeroflot - Russian Airlines".
From October 6 to 20, 2015 the Rosaviation Commission carried out an unscheduled inspection of Transaero, which showed that the company was unable to service, repay debt and fund ongoing operations in full. In this regard, the Commission proposed to cancel the operator certificate No.51. The Act on the results of the audit was approved on October 20.
The Order of the Federal Air Transport Agency dated October 21, cancels a certificate of the aviation company since October 26, 2015. The revoked certificate is not subject to restoration.
The Federal Air Transport Agency and Aeroflot set up and operate the operational headquarters. Transportation of Transaero passengers are still partially operated by its own flights, flights of Aeroflot - Russian Airlines and other carriers - Sibir, UTair, Ural Airlines and Taimyr. Since early September, it was transported nearly 1.8 million people. It is supposed to provide a refund for the tickets bought by 67,461 passengers. The detailed information is provided by Aeroflot.
