Residents of Bashkortostan will have free access to 30 educational programs on financial literacy in October

UFA, 16 October 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. Residents of Bashkortostan will have free access to 30 educational programs on financial literacy in October. On the official website of "All-Russian Week of Savings" more than 30 educational programs will be available from October 23 to 31.

They are of varied format - video lessons, self-study kits, brochures, books, memos and booklets on consumer protection. Educational programs allow participants to learn how to achieve financial goals, manage a budget and credit load, to prevent financial risks.

The "All-Russian Week of Savings" is scheduled by the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation in the framework of the project "Assistance to improve the financial literacy of the population and the development of financial education in the Russian Federation", dedicated to the International Day of Savings – on 31 of October. The purpose of the event - to provide citizens with an open and easy access to basic knowledge on financial literacy necessary to take care of personal welfare, the ministry reports.
