Bashkortostan farmer is awarded the "Honoured Worker of Agriculture" title at the "Golden Autumn-2015"

A farmer from Bashkortostan is awarded the title "Honoured Worker of Agriculture of the Russian Federation" at the "Golden Autumn-2015" exhibition. On Thursday, October 8 in Moscow at "Crocus Expo" the grand opening of the 25th Russian Agricultural Exhibition "Golden Autumn-2015" was held.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Alexander Tkachev. Dmitry Medvedev congratulated the participants and guests of the exhibition on the Day of Agriculture and Processing Industry Workers of Russia, handed over state awards to 22 best farmers of the country.

The honourable award was handed to the representative of the agricultural and industrial complex of Bashkortostan - the farmer from Ilishevo region Firdaus Yalalov. His seed farm is one of the best in the republic and specializes in manufacture of original and elite seeds of agricultural crops.

The press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the region reports that the exposition of Bashkortostan is one of the largest and occupies 108 sq m. It includes the major investment projects and strategic enterprises, covering all sectors of agribusiness development of the republic. The new products focused on import substitution - cheese, meat, turkey, goose, vegetables are demonstrated. Traditionally republican brands of honey, bread, milk are presented on the stand.

The central exhibition stand of the Russian Federation Ministry of Agriculture also display investment projects of Bashkortostan and branded products - honey, cheese, deli turkey. All of them participate in the Festival of national cultures, the Ministry reports.

This year the exhibition is attended by about 2,500 enterprises from 64 Russian regions and 24 countries. More than 300 heads of breeding farm animals, fur-bearing animals and poultry are displayed. About 100 units of agricultural machinery and equipment, as well as 195 investment regional projects from all federal districts of Russia in excess of two trillion rubles are presented there.
