Ufa International Airport has commissioned a platform for aircraft anti-icing

UFA, 30 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. The Ufa International Airport has commissioned a platform for aircraft treatment with anti-icing fluid, the press service of the Ufa aviation hub informs.

The platform for anti-icing works was built during the modernization of the apron of the Ufa airport and is positioned in such a way that enables aircrafts quickly getting on the runways by the special taxiway E2. Depending on the type and size of the jets the treatment takes an average of 10-15 minutes.

The need to create a separate area for anti-icing of aircrafts is conditioned primarily by the environmental care. The platform is equipped with a special sewer system to collect de-icing fluids with discharges and disposal facilities.
