Large-capacity oil tank barge is prepared for floating out in Bashkortostan

UFA, 25 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. In Bashkortostan a large-capacity oil tank barge is prepared for floating out to the river Belaya. In September last year at the Blagoveschensk Shipyard the"Nika-1" was built and floated out - the first in the series of non-propelled oil tank barges with 5050 tonnage. These days its analogue under the name "Apollinariya" is prepared for floating out.

As it was noted by the Blagoveschensk Shipyard CEO Alexander Barbasov, previously only river tugs and low-tonnage ships were built in the republic. Now, with these two large-capacity barges the enterprise mastered more serious scales. The newly built barge is a modern boat meeting the most stringent international standards. Barges of this series satisfy the conditions of the Volga-Don Canal and Volga-Baltic way. They are mixed-navigation vessels of the "river-sea" type, the employee of the Blagoveschensk newspaper "Panorama" Tahir Faizullin informs.
