Bashkortostan residents buy two times less new cars than last year

UFA, 22 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. In Bashkortostan, for the first eight months of this year 26,680 new cars were sold. In terms of the market volume during this period the republic took the seventh place in the rating of Russian regions. Such data are given by AUTOSTAT analytical agency.

Experts announce a decline in car sales compared to the same period of the last year. According to statistics, residents of the republic for eight months purchased vehicles by 47.8% less than the last year.

In general, the market of new cars in Russia for the period reached 851.8 thousand items, which is 41.6% less than the previous year (1459.2 thousand). Thus, the development of the automobile market slowed down greatly. According to the results of sales in the reporting period, more than half (52.9%) of the Russian market is accounted for ten leading regions. The share of the republic having taken the seventh position is 3.1% of the total nationwide volume.

Analysts point out that the range of markets fall is quite wide - from 10.6% (Dagestan) to 54.3% (Tyumen region).
