Rustem Khamitov visited "Bashkirskaya" Poultry Farm

UFA, 17 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Iliya Spiridonov/. On September 17, in the village of Abdon of Ufa district the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov visited JSC ""Bashkirskaya" Poultry Farm where examined its modernization progress.

The Head of the Republic visited the reconstructed premises of industrial herd of 112 thousand birds each. Works are completed in 20 of these premises. Each of them is equipped with modern facilities. Since the start of the investment project in 2013, egg laying stock increased from 1.52 million to 2.58 million birds, while the volume of salable eggs increased from 45 to 60 million pieces per month.

The total investment for the project amounted to about 700 million rubles. The Government of the Republic rendered assistance worth over 70 million rubles. Reconstruction increased the volume of tax revenues from 55.8 million rubles to 95.5 million rubles a year.

In addition, last year the largest in the Volga Federal District integrated logistics centre with an area of 11 thousand sq m for sorting and packaging of chicken eggs in the amount of 800 million pieces per year was put into operation at the poultry farm. Also equipment of the egg grading centre was installed: egg collection conveyor system with a total length of 3 km and a grading machine with capacity of 1.3 million pieces per shift.

Rustem Khamitov talked to the employees of the company, visited the exhibition of egg and meat products under the "Avdon" brand. The General Director of "Russian Grain Ufa" Stanislav Nasimov presented to the Head of the Republic a new investment project on modernization of meat production at the enterprises of the holding. The estimated volume of investments reaches 4.8 billion rubles.

“All this already looks like a systematic approach”, Rustem Khamitov said.

In a conversation with the management of the holding the Head of the Region touched on the issue of poultry farms waste processing and ordered the Ministry of Agriculture RB to study various solutions to this problem, including a possibility of subsidizing enterprises.
