Sberbank connected more than 15 thousand republican outlets to the acquiring service

UFA, 15 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency/. Residents of Bashkortostan continue to use bank cards actively to pay for goods and services. In the first seven months of 2015 Sberbank acquiring turnover in Bashkortostan amounted to nearly 33 billion rubles, which is 1.5 times higher than for the same period of 2014.

More than 15 thousand stores were connected to the acquiring service of Sberbank in Bashkiria; the equipment exceeded the figure of 18 million active devices, which is 20% more than the last year. The highest turnover was accounted for food retail chains and shops - 35%, 13% for clothing and shoes stores, and another 10% for gas stations. The most promising area of acquiring today is the Internet acquiring. This is an opportunity to pay by credit card products or services directly on the website of the seller.

"At the regional market of acquiring services in Bashkiria Sberbank is the undisputed leader both in number of serviced trading and service companies, and by the acquiring turnover. Thus, by results of the second quarter the bank's share in the acquiring turnover of the republic amounted to almost 60%, the same rate was observed in number of retail and service outlets”, said the CEO of the Bashkir Branch of Sberbank Marat Mansurov.
