Bashkir agrarians reaped more than two million tons of grain

UFA, 10 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. In Bashkortostan, farmers reaped more than two million tons of grain, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB informs referring to the data of the Agricultural Consulting Centre.

Grains and legumes are cut on 1186 thousand hectares (68%), threshed on 1155 thousand hectares (66%). 2031 thousand tons of grain are harvested with an average yield of 17.6 tons per hectare.

Haybullino region is close to the end of the harvest – they have to get the crop in 5% of the areas. Over 80% of harvesting areas are threshed in Zilair, Krasnokamsk, Sterlibashevo and Sharan regions. In Meleuz and Sterlitamak regions gross yield exceeded 100 thousand tons.
