Rustem Khamitov delivered a speech at the opening of Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum

UFA, 2 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Iliya Spiridonov/. On September 2, in Kazan the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov delivered a speech at the opening of the 12th Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum, which is held in the exhibition centre "Kazan Fair".

The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the expositions. Vehicles running on natural gas (NGV) were presented at one of them. There was a new Lada Largus, factory equipped with gas equipment, Ford, Hyundai, Land Rover and other vehicles, converted on natural gas as well as taxis, technological and commercial vehicles. Leaders of the region were interested in the mobile gas station on the basis of "KamAZ" capable to replace a stationary gas station.

The Bashkir Exhibition Company jointly with the Chamber of Commerce RB organized the stand "Success Synergy of Bashkortostan Republic", which provided information about the Prototyping Centre of the low-tonnage chemistry cluster, geophysical cluster "Quantum", the regional industry cluster of oil and gas engineering and business life of the region. A particular attention was paid to joint projects of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan companies, including the construction of the "Visbreaking" facility at OJSC "Taneco" (2009-2011) and combined unit of light naphtha isomerization and naphtha splitter section at JSC "Tatneft" (2014-2015).

The 12th Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum, which takes place from September 2 to 4 2015, is one of the leading events of petrochemical industry in Russia. The business activities of the Forum are attended by over one thousand delegates from 22 countries, 185 companies of Russia. Among them there are such companies as "Transneft", "Tatneft", "TAIF», Henkel (Germany), Xandon Petroleum Technology (China) and others.

Four specialized exhibitions "Oil. Gas. Petrochemicals", "Eco-Technologies and Equipment of the 21st Century", "GEO-Kazan. Exploration. Surveying. Cartography" and "Interplastics Kazan" are held as part of the forum, as well as international scientific and practical conferences, round tables, seminars, presentations and business meetings.
