Government of Bashkiria and VTB signed a cooperation agreement

UFA, 28 August 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. The Government of Bashkortostan and VTB Bank signed an agreement on cooperation in the implementation of economic, investment and social policies in the region. According to the Deputy President - Chairman of the VTB Bank Board Mikhail Oseevsky it is a framework document to fix the intention of both parties to participate actively in the development of the republic. On the part of the Government of Bashkortostan the agreement was signed by the First Deputy Prime Minister Rustem Mardanov.

"At the meeting we discussed the application topics. Probably one of the most important is development and modernization of municipal infrastructure in Bashkortostan. In particular, we talked about the need to modernize heating systems in a number of areas. In addition, we discussed possibilities of new approaches to the construction of schools and kindergartens under the scheme of long-term lending. We agreed that we would conduct a pilot project: choose a school or a kindergarten in which financing the VTB Bank will take part", said Mikhail Oseevsky.

Also, the VTB Bank is ready to support investment projects of companies that operate in the republic.

"There is no doubt that important and key objective is to search for investment projects of companies operating in the republic, which require support from the VTB Bank. Bashkortostan is interested in our participation in financing and refinancing of public debt tenders in the region. We will take part and in these procedures too," said the Deputy President - Chairman of the VTB Bank Board.
