Ufa residents have the biggest payments for utility services in Russia - Yandex.Money research

UFA, 26 August 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. The Yandex service has analyzed payments of Ufa residents for utility services (water, electricity, gas). Over the year the average payout has increased from 2493 to 2760 rubles – Ufa townspeople pay for utility services on average more than the residents of other million cities. The average payment across Russia is 2,200 rubles, and the least payment for housing services among major cities is in Chelyabinsk - an average of 826 rubles, the press service of the Yandex company informs.

Among all ways to pay for utility services through Yandex.Money the most popular are credit cards - almost half of payers use them. About one third of people pay through electronic wallets. 14% of users choose to pay through an e-wallet connected to a credit card - it is convenient: in the time of payment it is not necessary to enter card details. Payments via mobile phones are gaining popularity - now 8% of users pay for utility services in such a way.

In general, over the last year the number of payments for utility services through Yandex.Money has increased 2.5 times. This growth is partly explained by the fact that the service allows you to pay for the services without registration.

Yandex.Money is the largest payment service in RuNet, according to TNS for 2015. In May this year there were registered 22 million e-wallets.
