Bashkiria economic indicators depend largely on work at the local level, experts say

Economic indicators of Bashkortostan and the investment attractiveness of the region depend largely on work of each citizen of the republic. During the crisis it is time to focus on the local issues, Konstantin Kuzmin, candidate of economic sciences, associate professor of Ufa State University of Economics and Service shared his thoughts with Bashinform News Agency reporter.

"In terms of socio-economic development of the region today we observe both positive and negative trends. Rustem Khamitov said about them at an expanded meeting of the Government of Bashkortostan Republic. The region has an increase in housing construction, but such indicators as unemployment, immigration issues are a little behind. This trend is currently prevailing in Russia as a whole. Today the next year's budget is already formed. It is, of course, less than in the previous year, but this crisis situation is observed nationwide", the expert considers.
