Rustem Khamitov has held a session of Interdepartmental Commission on Budget Revenues Increase

On August 12, at the House of the Republic the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov held a session of the Interagency Commission for increasing the income potential, tax and non-tax revenues of the budget of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the municipal budgets.

The Head of the Region noted that compared to the first half of 2014 the revenues increased by 13 percent, which allowed Bashkortostan rising from 50th to 35th place among the regions of Russia on this indicator.

Total taking into account gratuitous receipts from the federal budget, about 83 billion rubles, including 57 billion rubles of tax and 9 billion rubles of non-tax revenues were received by the republican treasury. This is higher than the last year by 8.1 and 23 percent respectively.

Among the problematic issues the Head of the Republic named shortfall in excise duties on alcoholic beverages and brewing production, as well as a decline in trade.

The Head of the Region emphasized that more than 38 billion rubles would be necessary to implement the "May Decrees" of the President of Russia in the next three years in Bashkortostan. This year the dividends received from state-owned shares of PJSOC Bashneft in the amount of 5 billion rubles will be directed for these purposes by the republic.

According to Rustem Khamitov, in the current financial situation the republic cannot place its stake on loans; although it is not possible completely avoid borrowing funds.
