UFA, 7 August 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. In Bashkortostan the inflation rate for the month rose by 0.7%. According to the report of the regional branch of the Federal State Statistics Service, in general, for seven months of this year, consumer prices in the region rose by 8.2%. Last month, the figure was equal 7.4%.
According to Bashkortostan Statistics Service, annual inflation in the republic stood at 14.3%. On average in Russia this figure was at around 15.6%. In July, the statistics recorded a rise in prices for potatoes, carrots, garlic (by 11,5-25,0%), apples (7.0%), tea, sugar, flour, sweets, caramel, ice cream (1.1 -3.5%), oranges (26.7%). But at the same time beetroot, cabbage, tomatoes and cucumbers (by 12,0-39,8%), lemons, grapes, bananas (by 9,9-15,9%) and chicken eggs (by 5.2%) and cereals (by 1.9-2.6%) became cheaper.
Among non-food products price tags for tobacco products increased by 5.2%, new cars of foreign brands - by 3.9%, motor gasoline - by 2.3%, children's clothing - by 2.4%. Reduced prices are observed in seasonal clothing and shoes, building materials, household appliances, furniture, computers, communications equipment, and jewelry made of gold.
