Rates of mortgage lending slowed down in Bashkiria

UFA, 14 July 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. In January-May in Bashkortostan it was issued 6799 housing mortgage loans for 9 billion 167.2 million rubles. And the number and volume of mortgage loans decreased by 37% compared to the level of January-May of the last year. This is evidenced by financial statistics of the Department of the National Bank in the Republic of Bashkortostan Ural Main Directorate of the Central Bank RF.

Bashkortostan takes the second place in the Volga Federal District in terms of mortgage loans volume as of June 1. Tatarstan is the leader with a considerable gap (11.9 billion rubles). Nizhny Novgorod region (8.1 billion) occupies the third position.

This year mortgage loans were issued in the republic on average at 14.5% per annum for a period of about 14 years. The weighted average of January-May 2014 was 12.3%, and about 15 years, respectively.
